Ironismo e tradição em Richard Rorty

Este trabalho tematiza a tradição ironista a partir do horizonte teórico de Richard Rorty, buscando refletir sobre os elementos que constituem tal tradição e sobre a maneira que este pensador se insere nesta tradição. Para tanto, primeiramente definiremos o que é uma tradição e como Rorty descreve a tradição ironista, para, em seguida, explicitarmos a maneira que ele se apropria dela, redescrevendo-a com vistas a seus anseios políticoutópicos.

Abstract:

This paper concerns the ironist tradition from the theoretical horizon of Richard Rorty, searching to reflect on the elements that constitute such tradition and on the way that this thinker if inserts in this tradition. For this, first define what is a tradition and as Rorty describes the ironist tradition, for then, explaining the way he appropriates it, redefining it with a view to their political and utopian yearnings.
