O TEMPO MEDIDO E O TEMPO PERCEBIDO: UM ANTIGO CONTRASTE RE-DESCRITO POR FILÓSOFOS E POETAS

Resumo:O presente artigo investiga alguns aspectos da diferença primária entre o tempo registrado pelo relógio e o tempo perceptível. O paradigma do tempo medido perde sua importância, diante de constatações vivenciais de outro tempo, por exemplo, em lugares “distantes” das metrópoles. A diferença entre tempos, antes descrita por Agostinho, é lembrada por filósofos (Heidegger e Agamben) e especialmente constatada por alguns poetas latino-americanos (Borges, Neruda e Drummond). O tempo percebido, não necessariamente fixado em um momento presente, demonstra, por exemplo, ser mais próximo ao existir humano daqueles que ainda vivem distantes dos chamados grandes centros.

Abstract: The present article investigates some aspects of the main difference between the registered time (clock's time) and the perceptible time. The paradigm of registered time looses its importance considering the living verifications of another time, for instance in distant places far away from megacities. The difference between both times, described earlier by Augustine, is remembered by modern philosophers (Heidegger and Agamben) and specially identified by some Latin American poets (Borges, Neruda and Drummond). The perceptible time, not necessarily fixed on a present moment, demonstrates for instance to be closer to the human existence of those which still live away from the so called big centres.
