ASPECTOS DA EXPRESSÃO DAS ARTES CÔMICAS DA ERA CLÁSSICA

Resumo

RESUMOEste trabalho tem por objetivo avaliar a relaçãoexistente entre as artes cômicas, anteriores aos quadrinhos, realizadas na eraclássica (entre os séculos XVII e XVIII) de modo a verificar a influencia destaera sobre estas artes. Aqui, são comparadas as linguagens características destaera clássica (e também certos aspectos do renascimento e era moderna) conformea descrição apresentada por Foucault em “Palavras e as coisas” e a práticaapresentada nas artes cômicas da mesma época. Verificou-se na linguagem destasartes cômicas, de uma forma geral, uma estrutura muito mais aberta em relaçãoàquela utilizada na era clássica, em função da preponderância de uma imagempautada pela representação grotesca. Palavras-chave: Artes cômicas. Epistemologia. ABSTRACTThis study aims to evaluate therelationship between the comic arts, prior to comics, performedin the classical era (between theseventeenth and eighteenth centuries) inorder to check the presence of this era over this kindof art. Here, the languages ​​thatcharacterize this classic era (andalso some aspects of the Renaissanceand the modern era) are compared, according to the description presented by Foucault in “TheOrder of Things: An Archaeology of the Human Sciences” and the practiceperceived in the comic artsof this classical era. It was found inthe language of these comic arts, in general, a muchmore outgoing structure compared to that used in the classicage, due to the preponderance ofthe grotesque representation in its image. Key-words: Comic arts.
