Metalinguagens no método de Peter Frederick Strawson

Abstract

Resumo:

No presente artigo pretendo aclarar um aparente conflito entre o método filosófico proposto por Strawson e o próprio desenvolvimento de sua filosofia. Ou seja, o apelo à linguagem ordinária, de um lado, e o uso abundante de conceitos técnicos, de outro. A elucidação consiste em notar a função que tais linguagens cumprem em seu projeto, a saber, como metalinguagens.

Abstract:

On the present paper I intent to make plain a putative conflict between Strawson's method in philosophy and it's development itself. In others words, Strawson's appeal to ordinary language, on one hand, and his plenty technical conceptual usage, on another hand. Clarification is to note the role that such languages meet in your project, namely, as metalanguages.
