A PRESENÇA SENTIDA DO PASSADO: ARQUITETURA, PRESERVAÇÃO E CRONÓTOPOS

RESUMO: Este artigo pretende conectar a ideia de produção de presença com as teorias de restauração e patrimônio. A presença do passado tem, utilizando o suporte teórico de Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht, um paladar material que é impossível de ser descartado. Quando falamos sobre presença do passado, estamos falando sobre entrar no passado, sentirmo-nos dentro do passado, deixar nossos corpos produzirem presença. Em todas essas nuances, a presença é material. Sendo assim, tentamos, nesse artigo, ver esse tipo de produção de presença em conexão com os monumentos patrimoniais arquitetônicos. Para esse propósito, foram utilizadas as teorias de Alois Riegl e John Ruskin.

ABSTRACT: This paper aims to connect the idea of production of presence with the restoration's and heritage's theories. The presence of the past has, using the Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht theoretical support, a material taste that is impossible to overlap. When we talk about presence of the past, we are talking about get in the past, feel ourselves inside the past, let our body produce the presence. In all this ways, the presence is material. As so, we tried, in this paper, to see this kind of production of presence in connection with the architectural monuments of heritage. For this purpose, Alois Riegls' and John Ruskin's theories were used.
