Quando os pais desaparecem atrás das telas: revisão sistemática sobre parentalidade distraída e abandono digital

Observa-se uma crescente presença de dispositivos eletrônicos no cotidiano familiar, provocando mudanças na dinâmica entre pais e filhos. Este estudo tem como objetivo compreender os fenômenos da parentalidade distraída e do abandono digital no contexto das relações familiares contemporâneas. Para isso, realizou-se uma revisão sistemática da literatura nas bases SciELO, PsycInfo, LILACS, EBSCO, PubMed, Periódicos Capes e Google Scholar, utilizando descritores em inglês e português: “parentalidade distraída”, “abandono digital”, “distracted parenting” e “digital abandonment”, em diferentes combinações. Os resultados indicam que a parentalidade distraída compromete a qualidade dos vínculos e da comunicação entre pais e filhos, favorecendo sentimentos de rejeição e negligência em crianças e adolescentes. Essas experiências podem desencadear problemas psicossociais, emocionais e comportamentais, impactando negativamente o desenvolvimento. Conclui-se que práticas parentais mais conscientes e atentas são fundamentais para fortalecer os laços familiares e assegurar o desenvolvimento saudável de crianças e adolescentes.
