For a Virtual Ethnography of the Audience: A Reflection on Obstacles, Choices and Research Designs

This paper is derived from a larger research and aims to reflect on the use of tools and strategies in research in the virtual environment. I will introduce some solutions developed in face of the obstacles and difficulties that arose during the research in this environment. I seek to reflect on the transformations of the day-to-day brought about by the use of technologies – especially the transformations in the consumption of culture and art audiences – while presenting an effort to outline a research design in a digital environment.Downloads
