Abstract

The underside of Brasilia as a place to play The text draws on the proposals of the Situationists, especially the idea of dissolving the boundaries between art and life, formulated since the artistic avant-gardes. The city is understood as the main field of these experiences, which is why Brasília is chosen as a space to be questioned from its modernist conception and its urban voids. These interstices, seen as the negative of monuments and buildings, evoke the notion of a liquid city, where dérive enables the creation of situations and sensitive atmospheres. Ludicconstructive actions generate intermittent events marked by impermanence and transience. Such events occur mainly in forgotten or abandoned spaces, associated with urban entropies. To inhabit Brasília from its reverse side means activating these voids through aesthetic practices and dérives. In this way, the boundaries between art and life, architecture and landscape are dissolved within a liquid space of multiple cartographies. Keywords: Healthy city, Urban greening, Urban resilience, Urban planning, Urban morphology.
