Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The contribution must be unique and it is NOT being currently evaluated for publication in another journal, otherwise it must be justified in the section "Comments to the Editor"
  • The submission file must be in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format
  • If it is the case, URLs must be informed for further references
  • The text must be in simple spacing with 12pt font size, using italic rather than underlined (apart from weblinks). In addition, Figures and Tables must be inserted within the manuscript text rather than in the end of it
  • The text must follow all the bibliography format requirements described at "Guidelines for Authors" located at the Section "About"

Author Guidelines


Scientific articles may be written in Portuguese, Spanish or English. An abstract, containing up to 300 words, is required in the original language of the article and in English.

The articles must have the following characteristics: Text formatted in accordance with the standard-manuscript developed in MSWord, already containing the respective links in the text to the bibliography.
