Abstract

The present work concerns itself with an association between methods appliedin statistics and in descriptive geometry, namely, those of the regresfilion analysis and of the orthogonal projections. lt is demonstrated that regressionplane can be obtained without the use of multiple linear regression the optionbeing the use of regression lines with the advantage of providing better visualization of the spatial distribution.
