Analise de Alguns Componentes da Demanda de Serviço Aéreo no Sistema Urbano Brasileiro

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to examine how some socioeconomic variables can explain the magnitude and distribution of air travel frequency at brasilian urban system. Thus to explore the relationship between frequency of air travel and urban socioeconomic importance three variables were selected: urban population, number of automobiles and number of persons occupied in tertiary activities. The results revealed that only one variable seems to influence air passenger potential i. e. urban population; the others variables did not presented great significance.
