Environmental Sensitivity Maps to the Oil Spill - SAO Maps: Retrieval of Information from the Socioeconomic Component in Tramandaí and Imbé -- Rio Grande do Sul

Abstract

The article presents the procedures performed in the counties of Tramandaí and Imbé -- Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil , to collect socioeconomic information, concerning the preparation of environmental sensitivity maps to the oil spill - SAO Maps. The main objective of the research was the completion of the survey data, followed by an analysis of the importance of this information for knowledge management tool, assisting in decision making about emergency and containment of accidents with oil spill. As study results we obtained the organization of information pertaining to socioeconomic component of the operating chart of the area, the determination of the icons of the activities developed in the region and also the main activities vulnerable to accidents provided by the oil activity.
