Espaço estético e espaço geométrico em Kant

Resumo

A fim de mostrar que a CRP contém uma ontologia que se assenta em uma análise eidética do espaço, no sentido husserliano do termo, procura-se mostrar que a Estética transcendental trata de um espaço puramente intuitivo, que é possível dissociar das elaborações conceptuais da geometria euclidiana. Apoio para essa tese é buscado na separação feita na ed. B entre a exposição metafísica e a exposição transcendental do espaço, nas notas preparatórias à resposta de Kant ao artigo de Kastner e em outras passagens da Analítica, bem como dos Prolegômenos.

Abstract

In order to show that Kant's Critique of Pure Reason contains an ontology resting upon an eidetical analysis (in Husserl's sense of the word) of space intuition, the article tries to show that Transcendental Aesthetics deals with a purely intuitive space, which is to be distinguished from a mathematical conception of space stemming from Euclid's geometry. Support for this thesis is sought in Kant's reformulation of his arguments in the Transcendental Aesthetics, resulting in the separation of a Metaphysical and a Transcendental Exposition of the concept of space, in the preparatory notes to his reply to Kästner's polemical article as well as in other passages both of Kant's Critique of Pure Reason and the Prolegomena.
