Kant: predicação e existência

Resumo

Assumindo a verdade de três afirmações ou suposições kantianas na CRP, a saber, [1] existência não é um predicado real, [2] do ponto de vista da Lógica Geral, os juízos categóricos são conexões de conceitos; [3] a forma lógica dos juízos de existência não pertence à Tábua Lógica dos Juízos, o artigo pretende analisar e apresentar uma solução para a seguinte questão: como é possível que certos juízos categóricos, que "formam a base de todos os outros juízos", possam desempenhar a função exercida pelos juízos existenciais que seria a de correlacionar conceitos, não a outros conceitos, mas a objetos efetivamente dados?

Abstract

Taking to be true these three Kantian suppositions or claims in CPR: [1]existence is not a real predicate, [2] from the General Logic perspective, categorical judgments are connections of concepts; [3] the logical form of judgments of existence does not belong to the Logical Table of Judgments, in this article I intend to analyze and to present a solution to the following question: how is it possible that certain categorical judgments, those that "constitute the basis for all other judgments", should have the function carried out by the existential judgment which is that of correlating concepts not to other concepts, but rather to objects actually given.
