O tempo e seus momentos interiores

Resumo

Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir a noção de "interioridade" no âmbito da filosofia de Bergson, especialmente seu papel na primeira delimitação da duração desenvolvida no Essai sur les donnés immédiates de la conscience. Ela está presente em diversos níveis das análises do livro e é a chave para a compreensão da noção de diferença interna e da refutação da noção de tempo homogêneo, substituída pela apreensão dos momentos interiores da passagem do tempo enquanto tal. Toda a filosofia de Bergson pode ser lida como a busca pela inteligibilidade da passagem do tempo comodiferenciação interna, isto é, como movimento de diferenciação e totalização a uma  só vez, e o diálogo crítico com Kant consiste num passo fundamental a essa teoria.

Abstract

This paper discusses Bergson's concept of interiority, especially its role in the first outline definition of duration developed in his Essai sur les donnés immédiates de la conscience. The concept of interiority is present in various levels of the Essay's analyses, and it is the key for an understanding of the notion of internal difference and of the refutation of that of homogeneous time, which is substituted by the apprehension of the inner moments of the passage of time as such. Bergson's philosophy as a whole can be read as a search for the intelligibility of the passage of time qua internal differentiation -- that is, at once as the movement of differentiation and totalization (the critical dialogue with Kant is a fundamental step towards this theory).
