Body-territory, children's drawing and education in the terreiros

Resumo

O presente artigo traz à tona a história de vida, o forjar do corpo-território de uma pesquisadora que tem em sua marca de existência a singularidade de ter sido criança de terreiro e hoje ser Makota, pedagoga e disposta a falar de dentro do seu território com a legitimidade de uma pesquisadora que se tece em contraposição ao legado ocidental e ao mesmo tempo enaltece os valores
civilizatórios africanos e afro-brasileiros. Nessa conjuntura, percorrem-se as categorias desenho de criança, educação nos terreiros, educação decolonial, corpo-território e legado africano, associadas à metodologia da sociopoética. A base metodológica possibilita a convivência direta nos espaços de estudo, valorizando o imaginário e os corpos dessas crianças como produtores de conhecimentos.

Abstract

This article brings to light the life story, the forging of the body-territory of a researcher, who has in her mark of existence the  singularity of having been a child of the terreiro and today being a Makota, pedagogue and willing to speak from within her territory with the legitimacy of a researcher who weaves herself in opposition to the Western legacy and at the same time praises the African
and Afro-Brazilian civilizing values. At this juncture, the categories of child drawing, education in the terreiros, decolonial education, body-territory, and African legacy are explored, associated with the methodology of sociopoetics. The methodological basis allows us to live directly in the study spaces, valuing the imaginary and bodies of these children as producers of knowledge.
