Gerenciamento de Impressões nas Teleconferências Durante o Período de Recuperação Judicial da Oi S.A.

O objetivo da pesquisa consiste em analisar como foram utilizadas as estratégias e táticas de Gerenciamento de Impressões nas teleconferências durante o período de Recuperação Judicial da Companhia Oi S.A. Para tanto, utilizou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa e descritiva, em que os dados foram coletados de 12 teleconferências trimestrais da Oi S.A do período do terceiro trimestre de 2019 até o segundo trimestre de 2022 e a análise foi feita por meio da técnica de análise de conteúdo baseada na segregação tática e estratégica de Gerenciamento de Impressão de Mohamed et al. (1999) e Mendonça e Andrade (2003). Os resultados demonstraram que a empresa usufruiu mais de estratégias de gerenciamento de impressão se comparado com as táticas, que indica a tentativa de melhorar a sua reputação em meio à Recuperação Judicial, com destaque para as categorias de insinuação, promoção organizacional, exemplificação e intimidação. Por sua vez, as táticas de gerenciamento foram menos expressivas, mas ainda assim pode-se perceber seu uso, com destaque para as categorias de explicação e retratação. Por meio do caso estudado, a pesquisa contribuí teoricamente ao evidenciar como as práticas de GI são aplicadas durante períodos de crise, ampliando o entendimento sobre como as comunicações corporativas nas teleconferências se desdobram e incorporam elementos de GI. Além disso, fornece contribuições práticas ao destacar o GI como uma ferramenta a ser utilizada pelos gestores para mitigar impactos durante a recuperação judicial e ainda, estimular debates sobre a utilização de práticas de GI.
