ENTRE PÁS E PICARETAS: O FUTEBOL DE TRABALHADORES NEGROS NA LONDRINA DOS ANOS DE 1930

Resumo

Resumo: O artigo analisa o futebol de trabalhadores negros na cidade de Londrina/PR nos de 1930. Para tanto, utilizamos como fonte de pesquisa histórica fotografias, entrevistas semiestruturadas e notícias de jornal. A sociogênese da cidade e região marcadas pelo empreendimento da CTNP (Companhia de Terras Norte do Paraná) trazia como fio condutor do empreendimento imobiliário a abertura de estradas e de vias-férreas ligando o interior de São Paulo ao Estado do Paraná. Neste cenário destacamos a organização social do lazer entre trabalhadores negros que trabalharam na construção desta via-férrea até o trecho de Londrina, o time de futebol denominado de Pá e Picareta nos possibilita uma reflexão que dá visibilidade à população negra na região.

Between shovels and picks: the soccer of black workers in Londrina in the 1930s

Abstract: The article analyzes the Foot-ball of black workers in the city of Londrina/PR in the 1930s. For that, we used photographs, semi-structured interviews and newspaper news as a source of historical research. The sociogenesis of the city and region marked by the enterprise of CTNP (Companhia de Terras Norte do Paraná) brought as a guiding thread of the real estate enterprise the opening of roads and railways connecting the interior of São Paulo to the State of Paraná. In this scenario, we highlight the social organization of leisure among black workers who worked on the construction of this railway to the stretch of Londrina, the Foot-ball team called Pá e Piccareta allows us a reflection that gives visibility to the black population in the region.
