POR QUE TORCIDAS ORGANIZADAS DE UM MESMO TIME NEM SEMPRE CANTAM EM UNÍSSONO NO BRASIL? – VIOLÊNCIA, POLÍTICAS SÔNICAS E PRÁTICAS TORCEDORAS

Resumo

Resumo: Expandindo com pesquisa documental trabalho de campo com gravação de áudio, esse artigo articula concepções de violência, política e som, a fim de perceber como práticas sonoras torcedoras assumem caráter de distribuição e redistribuição de recursos materiais e simbólicos no futebol. O esporte é atravessado por disputas que envolvem torcidas, gestores de clubes, suas instituições organizadoras, entre outros, e por isso envolvem embates destes agentes uns contra os outros. O som das práticas torcedoras é um mediador dessas lutas, pois é empregado por torcidas nas disputas pelo território das arquibancadas. Escutar a violência do som em seu caráter invasivo de força torna possível perceber disputas pouco abordadas na área no Brasil, como aquelas entre grupos torcedores adeptos do mesmo clube.

Why football organized fan groups for the same club don’t always sing in unison in Brazil? – Violence, Sonic Politics and Cheering Practices

Abstract: Expanding fieldwork with audio recording with document research, this article articulates conceptions of violence, politics and sound, in order to understand how fan’s sound practices take part on the distribution and redistribution of material and symbolic resources in football. The sport is embedded in disputes involving fans, club managers, their organizing institutions, among others, and therefore involve clashes between these agents against each other. The sound of cheering practices is a mediator of these struggles, as it is employed by fans in disputes over the territory of the bleachers. Listening to the violence of sound in its invasive character of force affords perceiving disputes rarely discussed in the field in Brazil, such as those between groups of supporters of the same club.
