ALFA Y OMEGA. ANÁLISIS COMPARADO DEL ROL DE LA DIVINIDAD EN LOS TRATADOS DEMONOLÓGICOS INGLESES Y FRANCESES (C. 1580-1648)
Resumo
Durante la modernidad temprana, la demonología constituyó al mismo tiempo una de las ramas de mayor desarrollo dentro de la teología cristiana y el fundamento intelectual principal de la caza de brujas en Europa. Una parte de sus intereses radicaba en describir la relación entre la divinidad, los demonios y los brujos. El objetivo del presente artículo consiste en comparar el modo en que los demonólogos ingleses y franceses comprendieron el rol del Creador en sus tratados sobre brujería, con la intención de demostrar que la fractura confesional existente entre ambos conjuntos de autores no provocó una diferencia crítica en su aproximación al problema.Referências
