Resumo

O filme A paixão de JL (2016), de Carlos Nader, tem como dispositivo a apropriação de arquivos de voz do artista Leonilson. O cineasta integra a inerente incompletude do som acusmático ao projeto e faz da voz o principal elemento de experimentação do filme. O uso da voz desprovida de sua imagem correspondente contribui para deslocar não apenas a ideia, mas também a propensão irrefletida de pensar e viver a escuta como algo subordinado à ordem de um visível habituado. O artigo investiga os modos particulares com que o cineasta desenvolve jogos de ficção/realidade e ausência/presença, ressignificando livremente fragmentos de sons e imagens em diálogos poéticos entre a vida e a obra do personagem-tema. Em costura criativa, os materiais ganham novas significações na montagem, com ênfase na matéria vocal. O agenciamento de peças de diferentes materialidades e temporalidades potencializa a ideia de atravessamento no espaço-tempo.

Abstract
The film A paixão de JL (JL’s passion) (2016), by Carlos Nader, uses the appropriation of voice files by the artist Leonilson as a device. The filmmaker integrates the inherent incompleteness of acousmatic sound into the project and makes the voice the main element of the film’s experimentation. The use of the voice without its corresponding image contributes to displacing not only the idea, but also the unthinking propensity to think and experience listening as something subordinate to the order of an accustomed visible. The article investigates the particular ways in which the filmmaker develops games of fiction/reality and absence/presence, freely re-signifying fragments of sounds and images in poetic dialogues between the life and work of the theme character. In creative weaving, the materials gain new meanings in the montage, with an emphasis on the vocal material. The combination of pieces of different materialities and temporalities enhances the idea of crossing space-time.
