Abstract

The explicit relationship of exploitation with the Earth unfolds in the assault of our subjectivities. The purpose of this article is to describe this relationship mainly based on a dialogue between Yanomami cosmology, in the literary work The Falling Sky (A queda do céu) by Davi Kopenawa and Bruce Albert, and the photographic work of Claudia Andujar, seeking to understand art as a strategy for resisting the extractivism of our life force and a strong ally for creating other possible worlds. The theoretical path is followed in the wake of the conceptions of decolonisation of thought, proposed by Eduardo Viveiros de Castro and the decolonisation of the unconscious, devised by Suely Rolnik, together with the call by Isabelle Stengers to reactivate the ties with Earth and the spirits.
