Paul Celan and Maya Zack, a Poem and a Poetry-Film
Abstract
Este artigo analisa o filme-poema Counterlight/Gegenlicht (2016), da artista israelense Maya Zack (1976-). O filme é a terceira parte de uma trilogia da artista sobre a questão da memória e tem como base o poema “Engführung”, de Paul Celan (1920-1970) e, como outras produções desse tipo, consiste numa junção de poema, imagem e som, ou “uma combinação de poema e filme de curta-metragem” (ORPHAL, 2014, p. 5). Este artigo deseja discutir qual como o poema “Engführung” de Celan é abordado e se transforma no filme de Zack, e como o próprio filme Counterlight participa da construção da memória da Shoa.
