Cirripedia (Crustacea) from Rocas Atoll

Abstract

This study redescribes three cirripeds in three different families from Rocas Atoll. Ceratoconcha floridana(Poecilasmatidae) is a species previously recorded from Rocas Atoll; whilst Lepas anatifera (Lepadidae) and Octolasmis lowei (Pyrgomatidae) are new records. Ceratoconcha floridana is distributed in the Western Atlantic and the remaining two species are cosmopolitan; all three species were previously recorded from Brazilian waters.
