Species of Belidae and Anthribidae (Insecta, Coleoptera, Curculionoidea) of the Atlantic Rain Forest of Rio de Janeiro, Brasil

Abstract

A survey of the species of Belidae and Anthribidae (Coleoptera, Curculionoidea) with distribution in Rio de Janeiro State are reviewed. In Belidae are assigned six species of Homalocerus (Belinae) and one species of Oxycorynus (Oxycorinae). For Anthribidae are recorded 13 genera and 28 species in the subfamily Anthribinae, with one single genus and species in Choraginae. Of them, 12 are considered new records for Rio de Janeiro State.
