List of the species of the order Ephemeroptera (Insecta) from the Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil

Abstract

A list of the species of Ephemeroptera from the Rio de Janeiro State, Southeastern Brazil, is presented. The survey was based on literature and on biological material of entomological collections. A total of nine families, 33 genera, and 57 species are registered for the region, including a new record for the State and 23 on new localities.
