The dermocranium and the optic-occipital region of the ossified neurocranium of the teiid Crocodilurus amazonicus are studied and described. Some cranial muscles were also mentioned, with their respective insertion areas. The skull of C. amazonicus is a generalized form, like the tipical teiidae skull. Although, it possesses distinct characteristics and morphological differences in various cranial features.
