New records of bryophytes for Alagoas and Sergipe states, Brazil

Abstract

Sixty eigth bryophytes species are recorded for Alagoas and Sergipe states, 38 mosses and 30 liverworts. For Alagoas state 26 mosses and 10 liverworts are mentioned, and for Sergipe State 12 mosses and 20 liverworts. From total species studied 49 are new records (28-Alagoas and 21-Sergipe) and 19 are cited for new sites in every one of the states (eight-Alagoas and 11-Sergipe).
