Erythroxylaceae

Abstract

A taxonomic study of Erythroxylaceae species found at the Parque Nacional da Restinga de Jurubatiba, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, revealed that there is one genus and two species: Erythroxylum ovalifolium Peyr. and E. subsessile (Mart.) O.E.Schulz. The species are described and an identification key is given, together with geographic distribution, illustrations, and comments on each species.
