TRILHANDO NOVOS CAMINHOS “SECRETOS”: ESPIONAGEM, BUROCRACIA E CONFLITOS NA II GUERRA MUNDIAL

Resumo

Partindo de um estudo sobre agências de inteligência e espionagem que atuaram durante a II Guerra Mundial, o objetivo deste texto é analisar como essas instituições se apresentavam em um cenário de desenvolvimento administrativo burocrático, assim como as relações departamentais que estavam envolvidas. Analisaremos dois órgãos: o britânico “Special Operations Executive” (SOE), surgido em 1940, e o norte-americano Office of Strategic Services, criado em 1941. Por meio de um estudo de fontes oficiais produzidas por essas agências, procuraremos entender a leitura que esses organismos faziam de suas atividades e a autoimagem que apresentavam em um contexto de institucionalização e profissionalização de suas atividades de inteligência na luta contra o Eixo.
