Algumas notas sobre a economia do Carnaval da Bahia

Abstract

Even though there are many important differences that make each Brazilian carnival unique, it's nowadays possible to identify an important common trait among them. It is the emergency of an organization of economy practices that ended up making of the carnival in Rio, Pernambuco and Bahia huge markets. The aim is to map the complex economy that involves various businesses and a large number of public and private agents in Bahia in the last 25 years.
