Resumo

This paper approaches the photographic creation through the poetic perspective of imagination. It discusses some themes from Bachelard’s phenomenology of poetic Imagination and its relationships to the analysis of the photo poetic creation. It focuses particularly on the importance of the poetic reverie for the creation of the photo poetic language; on the presence of a topophilia activating the creative Look; and on the action of a Poetizing I in the image apprehension. Secondly, the paper discusses the nature of the photo poetic image or photo poem, its establishment process through a reverie meditation and its condition of eye-driven phenomenon. Finally, through Henri Cartier-Bresson´s and Dieter Appelt´s photopoetics, the article concludes discussing the participation of the following poetical induction: the intimate luminance and the temporary pulsation of the instant in the photo poetic creative process.
