Abstract

The present article regards the new-development ideological system and its political projects of economic growth with social equity. The aim of this work is twofold: on one hand, presents objectively the main thesis of new-development approach; on the other hand, intends to stat up the critical debate on that tradition of Brazilian economic thought, exposing its origins and main theoretical and political limits.
