ORGANIZED ARMED VIOLENCE: A PHENOMENA THAT THREATENS STATES BORDERS

Abstract

The present work aims at defining the concept of Organized Armed Violence, understanding its history and its the main movements of development in Latin America and the Caribbean. Secondly, aims at analyzing the control policies used by the States from the Region, focusing on the advances and setbacks. Third, under the concept of Failed States, we ought to answer the following question: What impact does Organized Armed Violence have on relations between States and the possible spaces for cooperation?
