The insertion of Brazil in the South America

The article analyzes the current moment of international relations emphasizing the role played by Brazil as a southern power, regional leader in the process of formation of the South American bloc. It’s argued that this Brazilian position was achieved by a combination of domestic economic-political movement towards the resumption of development, with another movement of change in the correlation of international forces with a strong impact in the international order. It’s considered that the leading role played by Brazil in the integration process of South America ensures to the country the possibility of increasing its conditions to accelerate national development. In a multipolar international system that will draw sharply increasing, this successful trajectory will depend on capacity to political maneuvering along with the United States and China, the two major stakeholders in maintaining fluent and continuous relations with the countries of the region.Downloads
