Abstract

This article analyzes the movements of intericonicity in still images cut from the music video Mother Music´s, by rapper Djonga from Minas Gerais, materialized through the artist's body and gestures. Therefore, our proposal is to reflect on the meanings constructed and/or reproduced by discursive memory in the media field. To this end, we are based on the theoretical-methodological framework of Discourse Studies, relying on the works of Michel Foucault (2008) and, especially with regard to the Historical Semiology of Jean-Jacques Courtine (2013), also mobilizing the works by Ricardo Teperman (2015) and Thiago Soares (2004) about the history of rap and the formation of the music video consecutively, in the end, in our analyzes we point out a discursive practice that (re)signifies and (re)shapes the senses through the body and rap.
