Guerra Permanente no Fim da Natureza Barata: Crise no Sistema Capitalista Mundial desde o Início da Modernidade até o Presente

Resumo

Na conjuntura contemporânea, três crises interligadas ameaçam o sistema mundial capitalista: crises económicas, guerra e alterações ambientais globais. Analisando as abordagens dos sistemas mun-diais ao estudo da guerra, este artigo defende que, uma vez que o início da modernidade também foi um período caracterizado por estas crises, é útil explorar as tendências de crise do início da modernidade. Ele reflete sobre o fim da natureza barata e argumenta que, no momento atual, a ameaça das crises de subprodução e superprodução converge para o capital. Assim, questiona a capacidade contínua do capi-tal de mobilizar a guerra para transformar ambientes em direção ao fim da acumulação infinita.
