REFLEXIONES SOBRE LA APLICACIÓN DE LA INTELIGENCIA ARTIFICIAL EN LA ADMINISTRACIÓN DE JUSTICIA

Resumo

Los avances en las tecnologías de big data, machine learning y procesamiento del lenguaje natural están posibilitando el desarrollo de sistemas inteligentes capaces de realizar un creciente número de tareas jurídicas. Ello ha suscitado un intenso debate académico acerca de la posibilidad de automatizar determinadas actividades judiciales. Incluso, algunos gobiernos han anunciado ya la puesta en marcha de jueces-robot para resolver automáticamente determinados tipos de reclamaciones. En este contexto, el trabajo pretende ofrecer una serie de reflexiones para un enfoque pragmático de las posibilidades de aplicación de la inteligencia artificial en la administración de justicia, intentando exponer la diversidad y complejidad de las cuestiones implicadas en aquel debate. Un debate que en no pocas ocasiones es planteado en términos poco realistas, excesivamente reduccionistas y simplificadores.
