O Novo Banco de Desenvolvimento do BRICS: uma análise dos seus objetivos, inovações e o financiamento de energias renováveis

Resumo

O artigo tem como objetivo analisar as inovações trazidas pelo Novo Banco de Desenvolvimento no que diz respeito à ênfase posta ao financiamento de projetos de energias renováveis. Nossa hipótese é que o NDB inova ao incluir nos seus estatutos o foco no financiamento em infraestrutura sustentável, com ênfase em energias renováveis, que perfazem parte significativa do seu orçamento. Para testar a hipótese, são analisadas as inovações trazidas pela NDB à luz da comparação com bancos multilaterais de desenvolvimento estabelecidos.

Professora Adjunta do Departamento de Ciência Política da Universidade Federal Fluminense e pesquisadora do Instituto Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia em Políticas Públicas, Estratégia e Desenvolvimento. Doutora em Ciência Política pelo Instituto de Estudos Sociais e Políticos da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro.

Graduada em Ciências Econômicas pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP, 2006). Mestre em Relações Internacionais pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF, 2008).
