This article deals with two territorial governance experiments undertaken between 1980 and 2000 in the Middle Paraíba Valley of Rio de Janeiro State. The study focuses on the cases of Volta Redonda and Resende cities and their areas of influence. The objective of the study was to investigate the background of recent experiments related to productive restructuring from the mid-1990s onward.Metrics
