The Pagus -- Landscape Laboratory, Department of Geography / Geosciences Institute of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, aims to develop studies within the landscape in its various perspectives. The surveys of its members propose methodologies, discussions of concepts and interventions in geographic space. From the interlacing of interdisciplinary looks, especially the architecture, arts, biology, education, geography, tourism and urban development, this article seeks to show the mosaic of relations between different landscape concept approaches within the Pagus, both in terms of research and the professional performance of its researchers. Each research seeks to relate the idea of concrete and phenomenological landscape, sometimes bringing a cultural dimension to a survey focused on landscape in material terms, now seeking operational and strategic results of territorial planning in a research devoted to subjunctives of imagined landscape, now projecting actions in urban and rural geographic areas.
