About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The journal is open for contributions from researchers in Geography and related areas. Articles must have clearly established relevance and should explore multidisciplinary issues concerning the relationship of Geography with other scientific fields. In addition to research articles, the journal offers a forum for critical review articles and book reviews of current publications as well as of classic works with continued relevance for the discipline. Journal issues can also republish exemplary work from the past written by a seminal author who the editorial board deems worthy of remembering in the context of a current debate or pressing issue.
Peer Review Process
Articles can be submitted at any time. Each article or book review should have a maximum of three (3) authors. The issue in which a submission accepted for publication will appear is provided in the letter of acceptance from the journal.
The evaluation process has an average total cycle of 6 (six) months.
Peer review involves double-blind evaluation in which the anonymity of the authors and reviewers is maintained. The submission is appraised by two reviewers, and if the evaluations are conflicting, a third review is solicited. Approved articles are returned to the authors in order to make any necessary revisions suggested by the reviewers. The editorial board reserves the right to refuse publication of revised manuscripts which do not satisfy the reviewers.
