Authors

Abstract

The objective of this paper was to analyze the academic-scientific knowledge produced about the history and development of 3x3 Basketball (3x3B). Methods: This is a review and analysis of the literature, considering publications carried out between 2007-2020. Results: The 11 academic-scientific texts identified were published from 2018 onwards and addressed technical-tactical, historical-cultural and socio-educational aspects of B3x3. Considerations: It was clear that the first works that deal with the history and development of B3x3 in depth date back to 2019 and 2020, that the first known B3x3 event dates back to 2007, that it is not possible to say that this is the most practiced urban collective sport in the world and that the texts published between 2007-2020 contribute to the training of professionals working in different contexts.
