“O dialeto” de João Cabral de Melo Neto

Com base no poema “O dialeto” este trabalho pretende analisar a dicção poética de João Cabral de Melo Neto, a fim de compreender como se configura a possível recusa do “dialeto-família” utilizado pelo primo Gilberto Freyre. Pensando nos versos “Nele nunca soube escrever: deve escrever-me um superego”, a poesia de João Cabral será vista como uma espécie de hiato entre o discurso da Casa-grande e a expressão cultural de grupos populares, como os cassacos de Engenho para quem o poeta foi leitor de romances de cordel, durante a sua infância.
