In her diary Apuntes de clases, the dancer and teacher Natalia Perez records her educational experience in different courses and schools in the Argentinian city of Rosario between 2017 and 2020. In the notation of the intimacy delimited by the educational space, writing opens the inscription of her own body and that of colleagues, teachers and students, with whom she shares the practice of teaching and dance. This article seeks to investigate the ways in which, by convening daily tasks of writing such as the observation, rehearsal and layout of a lesson, Perez weaves a thought about the body that reveals the gestures of rest and movement, investigates its points of support and its cultural memory while questioning the impact which private and state spaces have over it.
