BRAZILIAN SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION IN RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS: A STATE-OF-THE-ART REVIEW
O ESTADO DA ARTE
Abstract
This state-of-the-art article systematizes and analyzes the knowledge produced in Brazilian journals about Rhythmic Gymnastics through the exploration of six scientific databases. A total of 172 studies were identified that, through a mixed, qualitative and quantitative analysis, revealed: there is no temporal constancy in the publications; although the publications are disseminated in 74 journals, 10 of them hold 48% of the national production with a median level (B1, B2 and B3); institutions in the South region stand out as producers of knowledge; There was epistemic diversity, but biomechanical and psychological aspects were the most addressed. Gaps were revealed, such as the little variability in the levels of practice and the incipience of studies in the sociocultural area.
