Doença de Parkinson: Promoção de saúde através da atividade física – Revisão Sistemática

A Doença de Parkinson (DP) é uma comorbidade que cursa com queda do nível da qualidade de vida, como dificuldade de marcha, tremores, ansiedade e depressão. Nesse sentido, a literatura mostra que a atividade física auxilia como forma de tratamento complementar para esses pacientes. O objetivo do estudo foi identificar na literatura os possíveis benefícios da atividade física para a população com Doença de Parkinson após os 60 anos de idade através de um programa de intervenção de no mínimo seis meses. Ao total foram incluídos 19 artigos dos últimos dez anos, que totalizaram 1835 pacientes. Os resultados são animadores e mostram que a aderência a modalidade escolhida é chave fundamental para o tratamento não medicamentoso da DP. Os principais benefícios observados foram na melhora da marcha e dos tremores, aumento da qualidade de vida, tanto física quanto mental e diminuição significativa no número de quedas em pacientes com DP.Referências
