Gynaikologia: O Econômico de Xenofonte e Leo Strauss

Leo Strauss se utilizou de Xenofonte em toda a sua produção filosófica. Em sua constante análise do discurso socrático, Strauss não resistiu em fazer uma interpretação do Econômico de Xenofonte. Neste artigo, analisaremos a relação de Strauss com Xenofonte e, sucintamente, o seu exercício hermenêutico dos capítulos de seus comentários sobre o Econômico intitulados gynaikologia, e o compararemos com duas abordagens da filosofia, primeiro, de mãos dadas com o uso dos prazeres de Michel Foucault e, em seguida, um trabalho recente sobre a filosofia grega da economia de Étienne Helmer.Références
