As lógicas de expansão chinesa para a África: uma análise da presença chinesa em Angola, Djibouti e Quênia

O presente artigo propõe analisar a expansão da presença chinesa no continente africano. Diante da marcante presença crescente do gigante asiático no continente africano desde os anos 2000, inúmeros debates têm surgido em torno de sua projeção de poder internacional, especialmente após a ascensão de Xi Jinping ao poder (2013-atualmente) e o anúncio da Nova Rota da Seda (BRI). Com o intuito de melhor compreender os interesses e a presença chinesa na periferia do sistema interestatal capitalista, analisamos as lógicas de expansão de zonas de influência econômica da China na África. Para tanto, optamos por examinar as relações de Pequim com três países do continente africano: Angola, Djibouti e Quênia. O artigo compreende que estes países representam três possíveis lógicas de expansão que são seguidas pela China por meio da BRI no continente africano: (a) garantia de recursos estratégicos, (b) militar-estratégica e (c) político-integracionista.
