The internationalization of the Brazilian economy in the nineties

Abstract

This article aims to identify reasons that lead the Brazilian bourgeoisie to deepen association with foreign capital in the nineties. Among these reasons there are: new opportunities for valorization of capital, modernization of consumption standards, fortifi cation of the capitalist class, and aversion to social-economic ruptures.
